Oh you mean the collage, um....Perry Kulper. I don't know anything about him. I saw this collage on Archinect, and stole it fo rmy background. I would love to see it in person, but its in CA, and I'm in Texas.
OH really? Yeah I had the opportunity to meet perry wayyy back before he became a more recognized person, but his work was always good. That's a nice piece!
Apparently not... I see the struts off to the right that could be holding the thing up via tension cables, but they don't look substantial enough for a structure of that size.
spotted here, but I don't know much more then ya'll.

from wikipedia:Kin-Dza-Dza! (Кин-Дза-Дза! in Russian, pronounced "Kin-Dzuh-DZUH") was a 1986 Soviet science fiction film released by the Mosfilm studio and directed by Georgi Danelia, with a story by Georgi Danelia and Revaz Gabriadze. The movie was filmed in color and runs for 135 minutes. It can be considered a cult film, especially among Russians, and its humorous dialogue is frequently quoted in that country.
there was a discussion about it on archinect when this pic first surfaced - maybe on thread central...
In construction work, it is one of the initiation rites of passage given to all new apprentice workers, and thought to be very funny by senior workers in on the gag
