At home drinking a martini now. AP, larslarson, and I were thinking about going out for drinks, but everybody (myself included) seems to have decided that we're too tired and decided to call it a night. Hopefully this martini will make me buzzed enough to fall right asleep, but not so much that I feel like shit in the morning.

good morning late night thread! i also started drinking early (3:30 est, when the Florida/Georgia game started)...by the time me and my fellow dejected UF fans sat down for dinner at 10pm in the East Village (Cucina di Pesce) i was already coming off of my original buzz. a bottle of wine with dinner almost reinstated the buzz, but really just made me more tired...better luck next weekend...

Ugh, no drinking for me this weekend due to multiple projects. Instead I'm still working away at midnight eastern time - on a Sunday! I could go for a bottle of wine right now. Instead, I'm eating my usual late-night working snack - pretzels and soda. I feel sick if I eat anything else with little/no sleep.

Any suggestions for good late night work snacks?

I'm always around late at night. I tried going to bed early tonight but I woke up from a bad dream with a Guns 'n Roses soundtrack, and now I don't want to go back to bed.

At least I had a nap this afternoon. Holy shit I love naps and I never get to do them.

is it really only monday?? i'm trying to call everyday saturday, but realize that some saturdays you gotta work all day. i think it comes from friends with saturday to wednesday jobs or some variation. they're always saying things like- 'this is my friday' on wednesday nights or whatever. i say 'this is my saturday.' no matter what.

It's 1am in Moscow. Just got home. Have to be back to studio at 7am to put together a presentation. I can't help wanting to have turned to a different building a few years ago and have become a graphic designer. It seems like it would have been such a good idea... Now I kill myself drafting, and then kill myself again trying to make it look visually awesome.

Going to bed at 1AM, just finished a layout for a master suite and household laundry headquarters.
