I went ahead and downloaded the student version of Rhino 4.0, and I think I'm going to try to pick it up over the the two weeks during my spring break. Are there any good online tutorials that you'd reccommend?

Can any one suggest any free online tutorials for 3ds Max? ...for a real beginner i guess. Even the one that is specifically "New to 3D" that came with the disk was quite cumbersome....pathetic, i know.

I am also pretty sure that when you bought, it came with the full manual on pdf. The manual they give you is great.
I have the one for version 3.0.

Anyone who knows VISRETAIN will have no problem mastering Rhino.
I can manipulate VISRETAIN like a master.
rhino 4 has really good built-in help. it has mini movies showing what each command does.
