Making 2D meshes on the mac

Monolith

I'm trying to find some mac software (preferably open source or shareware, although doesn't have to be) that will allow me to make 2d meshes. I want to make some meshes as a background to some other graphic work I'm doing but not too sure what to use.

Any info gratefully appreciated Archinects.

been trying to find a precomiled executable of Tochnog to play with on my PC platform but despite saying in their user guide that it can be found in their download section, I can't for the life of me find it

http://tochnog.sourceforge.net/

Ahhhhhhhh!
