The thing that usually costs the most is getting power, water, etc. A lot of these people buy cheap land out in the boonies and get one of these tiny homes to put on it, and the homes themselves are not so expensive (40-90k), so the big obstacle becomes how it gets hooked up to utilities.
that's not awesome.
it's very boring - it just looks like a corner of a suburban house. Nasty windows, nasty cladding. Why, when you have so much land around you would you ever want to sit in that cubible? why have windows?
All those project are built like mini versions of bigger homes, none of them take the issue of smallness as an oportunity for inovation
I'd rather have a bucky dome instead.
