i need some help on a topic i dont know too much about. just received a new project from a synagogue. they want a new design for the front where the ark (cabinet that holds the torah) is located. it should be climate controlled and secure. i am wondering if anyone knows if somebody makes these things. im assuming it should be very similar to a humidor except made of steel. of course the outside would be clad in some decorative doors and the whole thing would be anchored in cmu/concrete foundation.
i could custom make one, but i dont want to incur extra cost. i would appreciate it if any one has any ideas.

i would suggest visiting some synagogues or finding an ark design consultant in your local yellow pages or maybe on google...
