I don't have much in the way of a writing portfolio but it seems as though having a few strong essays on architecture could add to my graduate school application. Anyone here include writing in their grad application portfolio? If so, what were your pieces about?
And does anyone have suggestions for breaking into the world of architecture magazines or critical review volumes?
I'm writing a book that is coupled with a research fellowship that I received this past year. I was planning to send it along with any post-grad applications. I'm writing specifically about Sverre Fehn's museums in Norway (the experience of them and the way they interact with context, culture, site, and tradition to create a regionalist poetic modernism).
