Earthen Construction - Natural Building in the USA

Earthman

This entry is a call for interested parties to compair experiences with earthen construction and natural building practices.

Who's doing what, and where? There's a natura building movement in the USA. Oregon, North Carolina, New Mexico, Texas, Arizona, and Georgia are hotbeds for earthen construction and design. I'd like to hear from Architects who are tuned into Natural and Earthen Building
Design.

I'm a follower of the Samuel Mockbee (Auburn University) school of design. Use what's at hand, recycle, salvage, and be bold.

i would hardly call new mexico a hotbed of earthen architecture just because more adobe/strawbale/rammed earth/earthships are built there than in other locations.
