I'm putting this post back to the top, because I am also interested in relocating to the northwest, though not until next year and preferably with a job. I'm specifically looking for small to midsized forward thinking firms, preferable with an empasis on both the computational and the ecological.

My friend and I are moving to Seattle without arch. jobs. Does anyone have any recommendations besides the Cutlers and the Miller Hulls of the world?
there was a group called mithun that were advertising a while back....do sustainable stuff, looks ok ...medium size youngish firm.
