This stuff is supposed to be 100% recycled with non toxic binding agents. Website claims it'll absorb water but won't mold or deteriorate, sounds like a contridiction to me. But I'm looking for a material that will deaden street sound and go up like a fence or siding panel. Clearly I'm working on a tight budget.
Exterior use of Homasote
Does anyone have experience using Homasote 440 in a exterior sound deadening application.
not sure if it the same as regular grey homosote...but if so, it will soak up water like a mofo.....

Use 3D-H. It will be 90% and us computer.
try precision board... not sure on the cost but i know they make different weights/thicknesses
