Over a year ago there was a project in Wallpaper Magazine that was clad in what appeared to be Galvanized Aluminum. The other materials were concrete and wood. The project was a 4 unit condo development that the architect lived in. It was either Switzerland or Austria. It was a really nice project. Windows were all fixed with operable wood panels for ventilation.
Does anyone remember who this architect was and what issue of Wallpaper it appeared?

You're looking for Fuhriman & Hachler in Zurich.
Whoa. This guy answered his own question. Freaky.
What's even freakier - louismeier is one of only two people on Archinect that I've met in person...
the real question is why would you galvanize aluminum??
because aluminum corrodes?
or possible because the variegations in the spangle make it much more interesting to look at over the uniformity of aluminum?
i've never heard of galvanized aluminum, but this definitely wins the prize for funniest thread of the week.
