Best architectural design software?

queretaro

I'm trying to get back into architecture.  What is the best architectural design software to learn? I'm interested in finding which software is used most prevalently to maximize my opportunities to find an internship in a firm. I've seen classes primarily for Revit and CAD.

Revit is probably the most widely used corporate software. In terms of design, however, I'd suggest Rhinoceros 4.0, 3DsMax, SketchUp Pro, and of course the Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign).

AutoCAD is essentially the basis for most of these. Once you are proficient in CAD design, every program will be super easy to learn!
