mac user who is looking for the best software for drafting/modelling. i currently have nothing for my mac, and have to use my office's desktop/VIZ anytime i need to do some stuff for myself. archicad 9 keeps coming up....
HMM took me a few days to learn enough. It's pretty easy. I think its the best for BIM but thats just my opinion. And if your a student you can get a liscense for 89 bucks. Much easier than CAD software. You can get maxxonform which gives you more flexibility in modeling and there are plug ins for maya, i think form z and sketchup.

whats the learning curve. i'd be transitioning from the basic autodesk/viz combo.....
