i wear those and some sketchers with holes in the soles...

man, this must be people in HUGE cities that can get funky clothes cheap or time to spend shopping on line for these cool shoes.

I love high-heeled shoes of all kinds, but I have sensitive feet and anything like that rubs the skin and makes it bleed raw. Not to mention the general agonizing pain. I can only wear impractical shoes when I plan on walking about 100 feet for the entire day.

I am really more of a fan of the material/labor aspects of the shoe rather than the ideaology behind the "blackspot" hypothesis.

I am a vegan and so I like that I am not wearing any animal products and I know that the guy that made these was paid a fair ammount.

Yeah I agree with you on that. I have just always found something funny about the business of antibusiness. But I like that each pair of shoes comes with a share of the company.

I've been eyeing these Patagonia shoes for a few days for my next "comfort" purchase.....they are made from recycled rubber, use hemp fibers and minimize water-based solvents in the construction process. Plus I think they would look cute on my (future) scooter!
