(All your friends are making 75k, so they think you are making 75k too - but instead, you know that really - divide by 2 and add 5k. This works in the future as well, when they are making 100+ and ... well you get it.)

does anyone know the salary for an intermediate Architect? 5-9 yrs experience.

The rule of thumb is...decide what you think a fair wage would be...then cut it by 30-35%...and there you have it.
