Perkins&Will selected to design the Smithsonian’s Bezos Learning Center
This will be an Architect news story (tomorrow?) as we recall the prior 5 shortlisted firms and their public concept designs.
Is this going to be like a supervillain lair? That would be fun to design!
Link is up in the N ews. The publicly released shortlist proposals were "anonymous." Some were less than fun.

I was surprised that he didn't have himself photoshopped in with the Mercury 7 astronauts.
So it looks like P&W was FIRM D, which everyone was guessing was either Morphosis or Snohetta.
Ya to be fair PW bought Schmid Henning Larsen so they prob designed it under PW name.
Schmidt Hammer Lassen. They are from Denmark.
