Hi all -- in Tár there's plenty to look at when bored with the slowching actual film; they base the movie in Berlin and hint to Scharoun's Phillarmonic, upon further research it turned out to be Kulturpalast in Dresden by gmp -- They also show some pretty cool office interiors -- Anyone know about the main character's apartment? (lots of cute exposed concrete) -
Pretty sure Lydia Tar's apartment in the film is the gallery owner's apartment above the Boros Collection in Berlin - they're thanked in the credits at the end.

The gallery itself isn't shown in the film but definitely worth a visit if you ever have the chance.
