Job Market in Canada for fresh M.Arch graduates?

ahjun

Hows the job market for fresh m.arch grads? Is atchitecture as a profession affected by the looming recession?

if affected by recession when will it recover?

Asking all these questions to decide whether to pursue my masters there as I eventually want to work.

It's a bit of a rollercoaster right now, to be honest. More stable than the US, most likely.

Going to school during a recession isn't a bad idea. By the time you graduate, things will likely be on the upswing. Besides that, recessions seem to happen every 10 to 15 years, so there's no sense in trying to time it. As the kids say, just do the damn thing.

Canada is a big country, depends on the location.  Usually when Alberta is doing well, Ontario and the east coast are not.  Cant put a blanket statement over the whole country.
