I have this poster competition where I plan to make a stylized version of a building in isometric view and there'll be people in it. Since it's stylized, the people themselves will have to be drawn in a cartoon style. Now, I have a bunch of people cutouts ready for use from my time in arch school, and I want to trace them so that I can use them in the poster. My question is, is that ok? Since the winner can get money as the prize and the winning poster will be put up for public view, am I allowed to modify these cutouts?
