accepted to both M Arch programs with similar aid, and am stuck picking between them. any advice or info on your experience in either program would be much appreciated

You're right, the tears of all the maple-leaf fans every end-of-season does keep the humidity up year-long...
depends on what you’re looking for - personally I’d pick Yale but would suggest looking into firms or jobs you want and see where the people went
Yale any day - smaller class, better facilities, more prestige if you care for that kind of thing, and a couple of hours from NYC anyway.
