I have completed the ARE, logged more than 3 years of experience on my NCARB Account [not all of it completely fulfills the AXP requirements] and have a 5 year NAAB degree. I recently filed my Form 1 with NYS Office of the Professions.
I have two questions:
Has anyone else recently filed paperwork with NYS OP, and if so, how long was the time to process the paperwork? I asked for a ballpark number but was told that due to COVID, they can't really give an estimate.
I'm still not 100% clear on whether NYS requires the AXP/IDP program. As I mentioned, I have pretty much all of the "buckets" filled, but still have a couple hundred to go in Construction & Evaluation. I tried to get a straight answer from NYS OP, but am still a little concerned that I haven't completed the AXP program.
