I worked on a couple of cat projects with my firm for a charity, and one of them was named after it's fictitious cat creator, Clawed Purrent... a pun for Claude Parent.
One of our cats is Floyd. One could imagine it's short for F. Lloyd Wright, but it's really sort of a Pink Floyd reference due to pink nose and toebeans. (Another cat is Ziggy, a David Bowie reference.)

I'm embarrassed to say I have not watched it. My wife watched the whole series and loved it.
