M.Arch Fall 2021 Application Status
So Columbia GSAPP just offered me advanced placement into the M.Arch program? Dealbreaker or nah?

I would basically be graduating in 2 years instead of 3. So no lol

According to the email I just got, no one is getting off the Yale waitlist lol
what did it say?
"I write to let you know that unfortunately we will not be admitting students from the waitlist of our M.Arch I program this year. We have had a much higher matriculation rate than in previous years and have already reached the target we have set for class size. I want to thank you for your patience through this process, and I wish you all the best as you choose your direction for the this fall and the years ahead."
I really hope this does not happen to RISD M-Arch 2 program :/

Yes, but what changed in the world? I don’t get it,
From my understanding schools have allowed a lot of deferrals due to covid uncertainty so each year the new applicants are competing for less spots with more people (the students from the last round who deferred and are trying their luck again). I've been told that this is likely to continue into next year as many deferrals have been granted again.
None of the schools I got in touch with offer deferrals, what schools are you referring to??
No GRE requirement!
It's mostly due to the global pandemic. The severe impact on the job market made studying a better option. And with schools dropping standardized testing (^ like the GRE) in the application process, more people would be applying.
It took me 2 years to prep for the GRE, feeling like a sucker...

Apparently my department didn’t notify the financial office as yet..
Has anyone heard from Pratt graduate admissions regarding when we can expect a decision by? It's getting pretty urgent as my apartment lease ends in two weeks lol. I emailed the department on April 10th and they told me applications were still under review. Any further info would be extremely helpful at this point. Best of luck to all applicants this year!

I'm interested into having a look at admitted students' portfolios for these two programs. I couldn't find an admitted student portfolio as most current student incorporate GSD studio works in their most recent portfolio.
I'm also particularly interested by work of international students.
