I am working with an existing condition- Concrete encased steel beams. I see code-prescribed values with W/D ratios and other UL listings for COLUMNS, but not beams. Can someone point me in the right direction for finding out what minimum thickness of concrete is required to achieve a certain fire resistance for Concrete-Encased Steel Beams?

Not sure about steel beams, but it looks like union bosses need at least 6 inches of coverage, minimum.
