I am an architect and have used both ACad and Vectorworks in the office environment. I like having CAD at home to work on my house and little projects. My (ancient) copy of Vectorworks won't work with my new computer.
They seem to have gone to the subscription model that everyone is moving to these days. I don't use the software enough to justify that monthly commitment but I do like having it when I need it.
Are there any good mac based options out there? I have a feeling I'm going to end up with Sketchup but thought I would ask before giving up completely.
