I’m looking at buying a beachfront property to build a simple processing unit for processing spices in a remote area of south east Asia.
We like the idea of doing it close to the beach, as some of the staff will live onsite and it’d be much nicer for them to be next to the beach :)
However, my choices of location are limited. I’ve found one property but about 80% of the property is composed of sharp rocky coral outcrops (see attached photos).
Our building requirements are not very complicated as basically all we need is a concrete slab to dry spices and another concrete slab with a roof and not wall to install distillation machines. So no basement.
How should we proceed for building on that type of substrate and keep building costs as low as possible?
Hire an architect to do a site analysis and feasibility study you cheap fucker. You're a moron if you think this can be done via an internet form and pictures for no cost to you.

In which part did I say I’d like to get this done via the internet?
This part:
I’m only seeking advice on whether it’s safe to go ahead and buy the property.
This advice is what you hire a professional for. This is a forum (mostly) for professionals to comiserate and share, not a place for us to offer our paid services for free. Any disrespect you might be sensing is due to the fact that, while this is a unique thread for you, this forum sees these kinds of "free advice" postings several times per month.

It's the internet so technically you're ALWAYS yelling at no one.
Building on rocky outcrop
Hi everyone,
I hope I’m posting this at the right place :)

How long ago was the last eruption?
Nice business model: House your workers right next to their jobs. Keep that machine working 24/7.

Sometimes the abyss yells back.
Just look at all the trash, er ... fruits of civilization.
Context is everything.
You’re missing out.
One man’s trash is another man’s treasure.
just buy it
that is definitely not rocky coral outcrops, hire a professional.
what you need is a mobile spice harvester. obviously you'll want your geotech to check for sandworms hiding below grade.
Is it common to “dry spices” adjacent to water in your location?
