I’ll be a freshman at Cal Poly SLO next year in their B.Arch program. I know a good amount about buildings, but I am no expert on roofs. I have been researching different roof types and roofing materials lately, but when I came across this style I was unsure how to label or define it. The first picture is of the Birdwing Home by Lloyd Wright and the second picture is of the Bott Residence by Frank Lloyd Wright. I know that these are hip roofs, but when I tried looking for similar styles to these I was in no luck.
I would really appreciate it If anyone could help me out by telling me what type of roofing these are and also telling me a little about them.
What type of roofing is this?
Good evening everybody,
I’ll be a freshman at Cal Poly SLO next year in their B.Arch program.
Thanks!
