@proto That's what I was thinking - he definitely has a great career but I don't know what makes him an exemplary choice for an award that's self-described as "the profession’s highest honor"/ the "Nobel prize of architecture." There are a few recent winners that I scratch my head. I'm all for awarding it to those outside of the main stream - and there are a lot of cool firms chugging away doing amazing work outside of the limelight. They should just award Patrik and get it over with.
