Hey guys I am an architecture student working toward my b. Arch and have a lot of technical knowledge of almost all the programs we need for courses such as studio such as autocad, rhino, fusion 360, inventor, illustrator, Indesign, photoshop and many more. So I am here to offer my help since I haven’t found a forum that does that and i think many students could benefit
how do I import 3D models from paint into rhino?
You have to export a s a .dxf or .dwg file
paint is raster based. don't you need a vector file to expert as dxf?
Live trace the raster image in illustrator export as a .dwg then import into rhino. BOOM. lmao ;)

well it depends what you want to use the paint file as. Do you plan on using it as a material for rendering or were you trying to use lines drawn on paint as curves and poly surfaces for rhino?
If I draw my wall sections in MsPaint, what is the easiest way to convert them to revit families? I've tried exporting through sketchup make, but I just can't seem to get good results.

How to get better at understanding tech? going into 3rd year for Ba and always gotten the lowest marks in tech modules, the way I see it it's just a matter of finding applicable precedents for my design but I don't know where to look. Any ideas?

I'm in London, UK, due to start my Bachelor's in Architecture (RIBA Part 1) this September. I know its wayy off but I thought to start thinking about it early to prepare myself a bit. I would love to and am planning on doing my Masters in the U.S. I understand this will not be RIBA accredited. Is the accreditation that important say, if I did masters in U.S and came back to London to work?

hi I have a question to this 500sqm lotblocated along the 12m wide street (rrow) oriented on the south side with 1.8m sidewalks. The lot size is 10m wide frontage that faces south. The lot slopes at 2% toward the street on the west side is 50m wide with a 5m minor road. Consider the setbacks. What should it look like? Im really confused can anyone help me about this?

hope you can help - I’ve imported an object into FormIt it’s a tree and it’s come through looking sectional (as if it’s a paper model catch up like an orange if you were looking at it and plan view if that makes sense) and the outlines Of my buildings are visible through it. It’s like it’s there but it’s not there.
