I am currently working on a project of residential flat building where the maximum height is 21 m.

For the Side setback the DPC says that they should be 3m plus ¼ the amount that the wall height exceeds 3m.

Can someone be so kind to explain to me what that means?

Thank you.

x / 7 = [ ¼ ( q - 3 ) + 3 ] / 7

Solve for x.

Why are you crowd sourcing this?  If you don't understand what the DPC wants, why don't you ask them?

Maybe they laughed since it’s a pretty easy word problem?
