Designer Chair? Who designed it? Looks like Mies van der Rohe (Bauhaus)! But it is another.. .

Heya guys,

who designed that chair ?

It is not Mies van der Rohe...

It is not just a replication of it...

It is another designer...

But who?

Turn it over and look for a maker or manufacturer marking.  I think its a Scandinavian mid-century designer.  It looks vaguely familiar.

DC is correct. It is an Ingmar Relling design made by the Westnofa company (Norway)in the 1960s. Usually they were made with a bentwood frame. The steel frame pictured is somewhat rare. There are several variations of the design.

4 seconds of internet research turned this up on the Knoll website.  Licensed reproduction of Mies's classic.  Yours for six grand.
