Hi, I have two Australian architect friends who are going away and whom I have known for 8 years. I thought I would ask some architects what would be considered a good farewell gift? I have seen some of the LEGO Architecture pieces, but would like to consider other options as well.
Get an antique Keuffel and Essel or Riefler instrument drawing kit on ebay for less than $50 or so. They come in a thin metal case about 5" by 9" with velvet lining for the compasses, dividers, and pens inside. Many are unused. The ultimate paperweight.
