vray vs maya

designermom

I want to know everyone's opinions on which program is better for rendering Revit drawings...Vray or Maya? I already own Maya (thanks to my son), but noticed that more firms use Vray.

Please let me know what you think.

Thanks

Most firms use V-Ray for 3ds Max.

They make V-Ray for Revit but I have no idea how good it is.

Comaring rendering engine with a modeling software? Really strange behavior. By the way, I recommend other soft :-) I use Lumion, it also has a plugin for live synchronization between Revit and Lumion. But you need a really powerful PC for that.

Why don't you do both and use Vray for Maya lol. You do realize Vray is a render software that they make for both Revit and Maya. The one for Maya is more complex but has more control than the one for Revit. Vray for Max in my opinion has the best control but that's just me.
