You also can't say you've really researched the countryside without reading Men of Goodwill by Jules Romains and Artamène ou le Grand Cyrus by Georges and/or Madeleine de Scudéry. And those are just the three obvious ones off the top of my head.
Particularity of countryside
I need any information on how to find character of a place from countryside. I am in first year, i need recommendation on a booklist that i must read.
