A 40- minute commute by car. It has its ups and downs, as with any mode of transportation. Kudos to those that have direct access to the subway to travel, and can travel to work in 30 minutes or less.
It varies. Today I took the train. Sometimes I drive to the light rail (farther from my house but more reliable). Sometimes I drive all the way to the office (costly and wasteful but sometimes necessary for time). Once the weather warms up I'm going to buy a bike.
Probably because you pay them too much and they got uppity.

Our interns are not uppity. I'm the uppity one.

Wife dresses me, packs a healthy lunch, and my kids line up every morning for inspection and wishing me well; so I get it. The interns should at least have lint brushed my cape and polished my patent leather office loafers in preparation for my arrival. Please tell me you aren't, shudder, doing this yourself?
How do you get to work?

Sled dog in the winter. Kiteboard in the summer.
Walk 40 ft
That would be way too close for me.

Grumpy and disheveled, most days.
My interns carry me in a palanquin.
You don't have interns.
You’re just jealous.
I am. Our interns won't carry me around either.
Transmigration of souls is the preferred method.

Our interns bring us doughnuts!
Last office I walked roughly two blocks. Currently bike a little under 2mi each way.
