I work for an Australian urban development consultancy called Urbis, and for a project on healthcare facilities planning, I am looking for international examples of inspiring office design for the following purpose, if anyone has anything they'd be kind enough to share:
We're targeting mobile healthcare workers who spend part of their day at an office base, and then travel around communities to see patients, then return to HQ to consult with managers in large meeting spaces and break out areas. They use cars for travel - thus need parking, and remote digital technologies - so the office needs space to house IT servers, and desks need room for devices to be placed on them.
The healthcare organisation needs to use office space efficiently as large workstations aren't required but hot desking risks being too impersonal and demotivating. Desk space should be minimised whilst the office environment should be appealing and give workers enough psychological connection with the organisation. The office space should promote mental wellbeing.
In short, efficient use of desk space whilst office environment is physically appealing, and easy access to large meeting rooms and break out areas. Parking.
Thanks very much indeed.
All best wishes,
Cathy Baldwin
