profesional portfolio

Seems like there is always a lot of talk about STUDENT portfolios... suspiciously absent is discussion of profesional portfolios... maybe because no one here is employed? (jk)

Do you include less projects and more depth in a professional portfolio? More projects with lots of "money shots" to show off digital skills?

surely a professional portfolio is built different than someone applying to M.Arch 1 with a B.A. in english from oberlin...

Rusty!

If you have very little professional experience, then your 'work' portfolio will look pretty close to your academic one. Maybe skimp out of showing your mad watercoloring and photography skills.

We get plenty of portfolios here that are for employment purposes. Almost all of them are from kids just trying to enter the profession. Our elderly members aren't so eager to share. Maybe because a mature portfolio looks more like a marketing brochure. It shows work of collaborative nature and not much of Howard Roarkian innervisions.
