How to Set-Up an Eye Level Perspective View in AutoCAD 2010?

All Blacks!

Any help with this would be much appreciated.

I haven’t done it in a while and I don’t have AutoCAD 2010 to check if it has changed, but the command used to be “dview” (type dview). Set your Camera and Target location using POints (type PO). When asked to choose a location, type “.XY” and click where you want them to be. You will be asked then to input a Z value (height). Input height values for camera and target that make sense for an eye level perspective. After that you’ll have to adjust “Distance” (that should normally be 1) and Zoom (try 30 or 35mm). You can save this as a “named view” or as a viewport on paperspace.
