Job Description:


JOB SUMMARY



Provides architectural designs, drawings and specifications for new and revised structures and interior spaces for the Bank and Branches. Prepares contract documents, reviews shop drawings, coordinates work of contractors and consultants, oversees construction, renovation and remodeling projects, prepares and presents architectural designs and interior layouts.



KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Prepares architectural designs, drawings and specifications for construction, renovations, interior work and miscellaneous architectural projects for the Bank and Branches. Reviews drawings and specifications for adherence to standards, contract documents and building codes, including Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) and Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). 2. Follows through from construction and installation to completion of the project. Approves work, compiles punch list, reviews pay requests and approves invoices. (All)

3. Supervises the work of subordinates. Prepares work schedules and priorities and reviews and approves completed work. (Some)

4. Researches, reviews and recommends products for use in District facilities and for future use. (All)

5. Provides assistance in evaluating lease proposals, contractor and consultant contracts and prepares selection criteria for hiring consultants and contractors. (All)

6. Makes presentations to Bank management on proposed facilities renovation, remodeling and relocation projects, and new building and construction work. (All)

7. Assists in space forecasting and long range planning related to staffing and space needs. Assists in facilities planning for new buildings and leased space. (All)

8. Develops new furniture, fixtures and finish standards for use by the Bank. Develops space standards for offices and work stations. Tracks inventories of systems and office furniture. (All)

9. Prepares cost estimates for new work and project budgets, follows through with project budget approval, and monitors expenses from start to completion of projects. (All)

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor of Science in Architecture

Minimum of 5 years experience in Corporate Environments, Building Expansions, interiors, coordination of outside consultants etc.

Proficiency in Auto Cad and Microsoft Project

Microsoft Access experience preferred.

Registered Architect

LEED AP certification preferred
