I have just started a practice in South Ireland, just wondering if anyone has any great tips on overcoming the early stages or can recommend any great book, i am currently reading the RIBA guide to starting a practice & small giants by bo burlingham!
Hi. The first big tip and this is great advice, and not to sound like a total prat, is to do some research. There are quite a few dozen discussion threads on this topic, as well as feature called Upstarts that seeks to interview young architects in the that very same position, and a number of recommended books on the topic as well.
