With the relatively new context of Civano as a backdrop, this new residence seeks to define itself with elements of authenticity, vernacular awareness, sustainability, and the personalities of the clients all woven together.  The project was designed so that, if chosen, the building could achieve a Silver LEED rating at a minimum.  Construction techniques were used, including advanced framing, three dimensional solar gain models, recycled materials, high efficiency HVAC, rainwater harvesting, solar hot water, and much more
