‘SAKRANBOULEVARD’ Where Belief Meets Design
[Owner Living room or Guest living room]
SAKRANBOULEVARD is a project where mArchten took on the challenge of transforming an existing space into a functional and stylish home. While the owner had already established a strong vision for the property, the firm refined the details to optimize the space's potential. A prime example is the parking area, which was repurposed into a spacious living room with a dedicated food preparation zone. This clever redesign creates a clear distinction between the primary living area and a secondary lounge space, enhancing the overall functionality and aesthetic appeal of the home.
[The Importance of Exterior Design: Reflecting Personality and Style]
The architectural details and material choices play a crucial role in the success of the SAKRANBOULEVARD project. The design team meticulously analyzed the existing building's decorative elements and structural components to inform the design of the new additions. By carefully selecting materials and replicating the original patterns, the new structures seamlessly blend with the existing architecture. The use of separate foundations ensures the long-term stability of the building, safeguarding its unique aesthetic for generations to come.
[A Blend of Belief and Aesthetics]
The design journey for SAKRANBOULEVARD extended beyond the initial structural work to encompass the interior spaces. A unique aspect of this project was the early collaboration with savant, whose insights shaped the overall spatial layout. A striking feature of the entrance is a long walkway flanked by mountain imagery, a design choice intended to prevent energy dissipation. To further strengthen the energy flow, the original plan for a glass wall was reconsidered, opting instead for a solid wall to provide a more stable and grounded atmosphere.
The design team at mArchten took a holistic approach to the SAKRANBOULEVARD project, seamlessly integrating spiritual beliefs into the architectural and interior design. The long, linear walkway, adorned with mountain imagery, not only serves as a striking visual element but also functions as a display shelf for the owner's collection. The placement of curtains and the proportions of the altar table were carefully considered, aligning with Feng Shui principles to create a harmonious and spiritually uplifting environment. This meticulous attention to detail ensures that every aspect of the home contributes to the overall sense of comfort and beauty.
[Designing Homes for Family Living]
The aforementioned is just one aspect of the house. The interior decoration of this house has been adjusted according to other needs to create a friendly living environment and an attempt to create a space where family members live together harmoniously, including a work room for the parents and a work room for the children that are connected, and a separate living room for the family to use when guests come to the house. Creating a good atmosphere for the residents inside
[Sleep comfortably]
The bedroom, which is the most important part of many people, is designed according to the needs of each owner. Built-in furniture is added to fill the space so that it does not feel too empty. The master bedroom, which has a semi-outdoor balcony, has been renovated to be more suitable for use. The problem we encounter along with having a balcony is birds and various external factors. The design team therefore solved this by installing glass instead of the balcony railing in the open area, which ultimately eliminated these disturbances.
[Collaborative Design for Homeowners]
SAKRANBOULEVARD showcases the power of collaboration between design and spirituality. By working closely with fortune tellers, the architects were able to incorporate Feng Shui principles into the design, resulting in a space that is both aesthetically pleasing and energetically balanced. The simplicity of the design language and the use of curved elements help to create a harmonious and inviting atmosphere. This project demonstrates that design can be a powerful tool for enhancing well-being and spiritual fulfillment.
