Premises’ adaptation to Architecture’s Office, Seville.

The place is in the well-known San Luis street of the Historical Center of Seville, in the ground floor of a protected residential use building original of 1928. It possesses an irregular form, with a main face to San Luis street and other one to Duque de Montemar street and possesses a small mezzanine in the confluence of both accesses.
For its adjustment to study of architecture it has sought to preserve the diaphanous existing space and to recover the original configuration of the building, both in the materials and in its front composition, distorted in later interventions. For it have been restored the existing walls of pressed brick, the metallic structure and the ceramic beam filling, and the original hollows’ composition has been recovered. A bathroom and a new access from the entrance hall of the building have been included.
Discreet finishes have been used to give uniformity and facilitate the space’s perception allowing the existing walls perspiration with plasterboard panels and uncovered baseboards of the original brick. The continuous pavement is realized on site by floated cement. Protagonism is yielded to the interior lighting: linear lamps that colonize the space freely breaking the office’s zoning.
