Germantown Community Theater is located at the Germantown Friends School. Originally a gymnasium, this space has been renovated into a theater open to the public for children of all ages. Inspired by architectural notions of the existing building, the theater emphasizes a 'stepping' movement in the interior architecture, not only for aesthetic purposes but also for accoustics. A coat room, ticket office, and concession area are all located in the lobby. This theater includes a mezzanine level and a green roof including a small cocktail bar to be utilized during the warmer months. It is a fun and welcoming space for the community to enjoy and express their creativity.
