As an Interior Designer at West Chester University, I work on higher education projects across campus. We renovate existing building and build new facilities. The scope of this job includes but is not limited to completing CAD drawings for various projects, assessing site conditions and participating in client design meetings, assisting in the selection of furniture, fixtures and equipment, creating digital renderings, presentation and material boards, and compiling information for project budgets. I also coordinate meetings with contractors and vendors, and organize on-site project installations.

Dashing Designs is a residential design firm located in Southern New Jersey. As an Intern for this company, my tasks included product research including sourcing and pricing, visits to sites to assess conditions, participation in meetings with clients, and development of client contracts for various projects. My time spent at Dashing Designs was only temporary, as I returned to Philadelphia University in the fall.
