The competition wanted to provide the Zaragoza University Campus a big building/complex in which many needs of the students could be satisfied, specifically single-bed apartments, but more facilities not only for the neighbors, but for all the campus’ students (library, laundry service, gym, restaurant, shops, etc).

The project consist of a basic module unit 3mx3m whose different combination generates different typologies.

The big size of the building generates big scaled voids and bridges that can be used as expansions of an otherwise quite dense and tight solution (484 apartments).

The façade design tries to break the repetitive impression that these unit system would generate, grouping apartments in different textures, giving the building a more complex scale.
