i wonder how is the dorm system in the US... wonder if it's like in the movies ;)
as for us, in chile, we dont have dorms. so if you are from another city, all you can do is either rent a room, rent an apartment or live in a relative's home. i've tried everything: from living alone (first year out of high school. yay) to share an apt for 2 years (which was good) to share apt with my little brother, to again share apt but with 3 more ppl (worst experience ever)... now im living with my brother 1 block away from campus (which is the best location ever) and im looking for someone that rents an empty room i have. so today i wasnt working on my internship and decided to do some nice looking ads (visual comes first, always ;)) that im going to hang at college. hope school isnt closed due to vacations, otherwise i'll have to do that in march. in case anyone is coming to chile as exchange student, feel free to contact me ;)
so please, share your experiences in the housing subject :)

OH by the way the new number of the PASAJES MAGAZINE its dedicated to de Edhinburgh Perliament, latest work of Miralles and also a project that went over budget just 10 million of euros more than they expected (change money), its cool.... but im not too sure, if u look the pics separatedly they look cool... now think all of that is together in one building seems too much...anyway maybe i will post images in my next post...

Hi David!,
What an interesting topic ehhh...room mates. I guess most of the people here were interested in that Eric Miralles´ nice font. I can undertand your experience of moving to a new city (capital...most of the time) and looking for a nice and suitable place to live. My experience of this was getting near more and more to the campus. At the begining I live with a nice old couple but that was too far...I got to knew traffic jams, the crazy things of bigger cities so after a year and a half I moved to a nighborhood close to the campus. A medicine student rented a huge apartment but all of them were men...some of them very crazy and messy. Later my sister moved to the city so my parents decided to get a simple studio 20 minutes (bus) from the campus so I ve been there ever since. Your idea of renting rooms for international students sounds cool. I´m going to think of making a trip and contact you.
Greetings from Panama.
Hello,
I also searched this font for months now! Can someone give me a link or e-mailed me? It would be so nice of you!
Thanks :-)
