Well, after traveling around the city, watching the work city hall has been doing in public spaces i've been getting to know all the elements they use: vegetation, chairs, public furniture, and specially the textures/colours/materials. with this elements not it's time to start working proposasls for this new "square"-parking-public space....
around 1000m² which is not bad for a start. first thing is to close a lowly used street and "attach" it to the current restaurants so that side can start a pub-restaurant development, given this new space, that can be used to place outside tables in a more relaxed day, without interfiering with pedestrians. re accomodate parkings, trying not to remove any (since they are paid, city hall makes money out of it...). So at big scale, this is what the intervention will be: a pedestrian way with trees and some furniture to enhace the restaurants-pubs sector, reacomodate the parkings, in a way that they can have another use maybe during nights and elevate the whole sector at the same level, so cars go slower since it'll become a pedestrian way. the only restriction so far is that the street needs to be at least 7M wide so the SERVIU (housing department from gov.) gives it the denomination of street. not so many fancy pictures yet, but final project and renders will come soon :)
i mean, its city hall and i gotta impress this guys showing hard work and easy to understand visualization... because if they like the project, it will have some priority in the department and will be continued until construction, and i hope they ask me to join in the final stage of it..if they like my proposition.
the site plan, a freaking ULTRA detailed plan containing everything even power lines, had to clean it up a lot to work on it: so the green area is the restaurants-pub area, the red line shows the shape of the street kept at 7m and the yellow area is for parking/alternative use

this summer is *so* hot, i cant stand it anymore, i want to finish this and take a few days off on the beach, because school starts on march 7th!!!!!!!!! (i wont be attending first week, take that for granted)..
