So I just went out for beers and pizza with my studio critic Turner Brooks. This guy is amazing. On the way we took a detour to run up the ramps of an old building that has been converted into a parking garage. He was running up the ramps ahead of us. It was awesome.
Then at dinner we had a good conversation about the history of the school. Turner was a student here when the school burned down and when Charles Moore was the dean. It sounds like it was a pretty crazy place to be back then.
Anyway, just some half drunk anectdotes on a Thursday night. I keep promising pictures and keep not providing them. The problem is that the digital camera i took them on is locked up in a friend's desk right now. oh well.
for the time being here is a shot of the wreckage from the last project. This semester has been amazing. Somebody is always making something impressive. Gotta love it. Makes quite a mess as you can see.
here is a shot of me at the crit later that afternoon. I am in black, hands on hips, centered in the perspective. how architectural.
alright, back to work. TTFN
