Chongqing is a the juncture of two mighty rivers the Yangtze and the JiaLing. The facade is an homage to these two rivers and the traditional landscape paintings of the region which were heavily influenced by the misty weather, rugged mountainous terrain carved by the grand rivers. Each glass panel is unique, and together they create a giant 'Shanshui' (Mountain & Water) painting.
